At 2:23 a.m. police attempted to stop Byron Harrison at 169 Monticello Ave. Harrison fled the scene police gave chase, eventually apprehending Harrison, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. Harrison was charged with several weapons offenses, including unlawful possession of a weapon, and for being in possession of several controlled substances, Wallace-Scalfione said.
